beconn AG and Acosom GmbH cooperate for innovative data mesh solutions in an event-driven architecture based on the Avaloq data model
beconn AG, a leading Swiss company in IT consulting and digital transformation, and Acosom GmbH, a specialist in data-driven architectures, have announced a strategic partnership. Their future collaboration will focus on the development and implementation of innovative data mesh solutions in an event-driven architecture based on the Avaloq data model.
This collaboration combines beconn AG's profound expertise in the financial services industry with Acosom GmbH's technological innovation power. This newly established synergy will support financial institutions in modernizing their data architectures and thereby achieving maximum flexibility and scalability.
Data mesh meets event-driven architecture
The data mesh approach offers decentralized data management. Combined with an event-driven architecture, this enables financial institutions to process data streams in real time while strengthening the autonomy of individual departments. The proven open source platform Apache Kafka is used to provide a cost-effective infrastructure for scalable data processing and distribution.
"The collaboration with Acosom GmbH is an important milestone in our mission to equip financial institutions with the best technological tools," explains Philipp Schenk, CEO of beconn AG. "By merging the industry expertise of beconn AG with the technological capabilities of Acosom GmbH, we are creating a fast platform that meets the currently rapidly increasing demands for data flexibility and real-time processing."
The Avaloq data model as a basis
At the heart of the joint initiative is the Avaloq data model, which serves as the basis for the development of data-driven solutions. This model will be extended and integrated into the event-driven architecture to enable the respective financial institutions to use their data seamlessly and efficiently.
"Our partnership with beconn AG offers a unique opportunity to fully exploit the potential of the Avaloq data model," explains Robin Fehr, CEO of Acosom GmbH. "The combination of data mesh and event-driven architecture allows our customers not only to respond more quickly to market changes, but also to improve their own services with innovative approaches."
A look into the future
The collaboration between beconn AG and Acosom GmbH sets new standards for data-driven transformation in the financial services industry. The first joint pioneering projects are already in planning and are scheduled to be implemented starting in the second quarter of 2025.
